Asian Grand Prix 2010 - India

The Asian Grand Prix is held in India, 3 stops namely - Pune, Bangalore and Chennai.
The 4x100m relay team ran in the 1st leg clocking 40.97s and finished 8th out of the 9 teams. nobody did the 100m individuals. There was a slight improvement for the relay team in the 2nd leg in Bangalore, they ran a time of 40.86s and finished 9th out of the 10 teams. Calvin and Elfi ran a good race in the 100m individuals in Bangalore and did 10.69s and 10.65s respectively. The following boys competed in the 100m as well: Cheng wei 10.96s, Nasir 11.05s and Rahman 11.11s.

Our team didn't perform in the 3rd leg of the game, due to the bad living condition, and our athletes were not used to the environment. Elfi couldn't take the condition and fell sick, eventually had to drop out of the competition. It was a bad relay exchange from Calvin to Cheng Wei, and therefore did not do well for the 4 x 100m, and thus lost the chance to qualify for the year end big games.

The next race will be in mid July, Vietnam Open. Calvin Kang will be targeting towards it, now that the relay team did not qualify during the Asian Grand Prix, Calvin has to qualify through individual performance, for Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games.
