After a long break, Calvin Kang is back to burn the track! For the past few months, Calvin have to train with nagging pain on his knees. We did lots of strengthening work like wobble board squats, single leg squats, single leg step up, running drills single leg isolation and plyometrics exercises. He convinced me that he could once again tear the track in the 100m, so therefore I've decided to let him race in the following Malaysia meet: namely Negeri Sembilan and Pahang Open.
I've planned for Calvin to race in Taipei Open which is scheduled to be end of May, but he recovered and proved that he could race earlier than I expected.
He represented in the 100m in Negeri Sembilan and did a SB of 10.61s.
He was also involved in the 4 x 100m.
In Pahang, he raced in the 200m and did a SB of 21.88s, he also participated in the relays.
